Magic Bus Centre for Learning & Development hosted the 2nd PASCH football tournament on January 28th and 29th, 2011. The project was funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and implemented in cooperation with streetfootballworld.

Eight mixed-gender street football teams came together at the 22-acre outdoor experiential learning space at Aasrewadi Village near Karjat. The players, aged 14-18, not only shared the fun and thrills of competing in a tournament together also participated in workshops on German language and culture.

Six teams of players were drawn from schools in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune that belong to the PASCH network. The "Schools: Partners for the Future" (PASCH) initiative was launched by the German Federal Foreign Office in 2008 and links 1500 partner schools worldwide. Its aim is to stimulate young people's interest in the German language and life in contemporary Germany.

After South Africa, India is the second country to host a PASCH football tournament. The tournament will be followed by similar events in Bosnia and Herzegovina/Serbia, Brazil, Israel/Palestinian Authority and Cameroon/Gabon. The winning teams from each tournament will be invited to compete in a final international tournament in Berlin during the Women's World Cup this year. DPS Vasant Kunj won the India Tournament and would be flying to Germany in April 2011.
